Best Director Win: Hemorrhage

Ella Lentini wins the gold award for best director at Indie Shorts awards. The film, Hemorrhage, highlights the story of a young woman and her boyfriend who drive 12 hours to get an abortion. When she starts to hemorrhage on the way home in a state that has criminalized abortion, she must decide whether to race back across state lines to safety or risk arrest.
